LG LCD displays for the world's thinnest smartphone

The South Korean manufacturer LG showed a high definition screen smartphone that the company claims to be the finest ever created. The play is only 2.2 inches and 5.2 mm thick. The company's goal is to create devices becoming thinner and lighter.
The touch screen displays images in Full HD definition and using a different mounting system, LG claims to have reduced the number of lines on the panel by 30%, which makes images brighter and clearer.
It is possible that this technology to create thin LCD screens can be used in tablets, creating thinner and lighter devices, and televisions in the future.
Besides the thinnest LCD screen, LG began to manufacture mass flexible displays for use in mobile devices in smartphones, which apparently are thinner and lighter than LCD.
Besides LG, Samsung, Nokia and Apple working on flexible screens for their devices.
No prediction of launching a new handset with LCD screen.
