New technology creates smartphone screen that eliminates bacteria

The screens of smartphones are sites that have more bacteria and germs, and viruses, but relying on the Corning, which manufactures equipment used in the glass called Gorilla Glass, the next screen will fight these evils.
Gorilla Glass technology is present in more than 1.5 billion smartphones in the world.
In a presentation at the event MIT Technology Review Mobile Summit in June, the company showed that the screen can eliminate almost 100% of germs present on screen in about 2 hours.
"You're eating a sandwich, your phone rings, you answer, speak, off, put the smartphone on the table and back to eating the sandwich with the same hand with which he answered the phone. Which type of glass you want on your phone? "asked the vice president of Corning, Jeff Evenson.
The screen has no antibacterial forecast to be launched. Studies show that mobile phones have more bacteria than the soles of shoes or even public toilets and this is one of the reasons why Corning wants to launch a special screen.
Besides the antibacterial screen, Corning works on a screen that does not reflect the sunlight, allowing the user sees all the content that appears on the screen when your smartphone uses the street.
